We switched to Hillside for our soil purchases this year, after a bad experience last year. The price was comparable, but the product was way better. We have used it in all our garden plantings and top up for the lawn and they are all thriving. We highly recommend their products.

Always knowledgeable, friendly staff, with a good supply of gardening implements that you cant find anywhere else in Victoria, along with their usual supply of pretty well any kind (AND quantity!) of seed or fertilizer you are looking for. Oh...and Jasper, on the axe - amazing.

We bought lawn soil, $3500 worth, for a brand new build. We planted lawn seed and millions and millions of mushrooms came up. We had also bought planter box soil, but no mushrooms there. That was July...5 calls and manager, Jenta Madsen, finally called back Aug 2nd and agreed to bring 3rd party in to help as it was clearly soil issue. It’s now Oct and she has not refunded our money as promised, no 3rd party has come and she won’t return calls or emails. Worst customer service EVER! Buyer beware
