this is a great litle english style pub!! the food is wonderful and Tap selection (beer) is amazing! many imported beers. if you like your pints, you'll love this resturant!! Our server ryan was very knowledgable!!!

This place has a great atmosphere. Traditional style pub, with friendly servers and management.
The food was great with perfect portion sizes. There was probobly 20 different beers on tap! Washrooms were very clean. It's situated right on a the water, with plenty of ducks.

This *was* THE place for genuine fish and chips but clearly the old management took the recipe with them when they left. Too bad. The meals my friends had were reported to be delicious although the wings were somewhat dry. Still a brilliant atmosphere and do me a favour and don't ever stop pouring the Tennants!?
The fish and chips were not at all authentic 'English style' the batter was way too thick and the fries looked like frozen fries instead of 'chips'
The Kidney pie was freezer burnt
and the wings were dry.
The draft was great! It was cold and the atmosphere is good as long as there are lots of peeople there so there is background noise. They dont play music or have Tv's for some reason? They should though it might add to the environment alot. It is cozy there though.
I like the pond they have next to it. If you get a window seat when it snowing ir raining its probably really nice to look at.
I would go again for drinks but definatly NOT food.
