Hilary is amazing.

Hilary has been my hairstylist for about 4 months now, and I must say she is one of the best. She always is polite, proper and always has a smile on her face. She not only does amazing on my hair but she's always willing to go above and beyond. She will ask you for coffee, or a drink. Hilary washes you herself, and doesn't let the shampoo girl do it. And her station is always spotless. I love going to Yellow Orange and I heard that there moving. I can't wait to see there new place! I bet it will look great.

A terrible experience

Decided to try this salon as it was close to my work...this was a big mistake. Was given a new stylist who proceeded to colour my blonde hair a brilliant orange colour and then have the gall to tell me that this was the colour he was going for! After being told that this was not the colour I asked for, he then went on to "fix it" by making my blonde hair brown. The whole time, he made excuses about my colour and told me that he liked it! To make it worse, I have now been at the salon for 3 hours and as it is closing I am told by the owner that I must pay now as the receptionist is going on a date and cannot stay. I am then supposed to stay in the salon with the stylist who has damaged by hair and another male stylist. As my hair was not finished and I was still in shock by this whole experience, I decided to pay rather than refuse to and then be at the mercy of the stylist alone in the salon. I have never had an experience such as this, nor have I ever posted a review about a business. I did not find many negative reviews of this salon and I assume that the owner pays to have these reviews removed. I have told many people about my experience since and have heard many stories about the poor reputation this salon has locally among consumers and other businesses. I think the owner should have offered to comp this entire 4 hour show or offer to refund my money. My hair has finally recovered and I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in Aurora to a more reputable salon. Wish I could give this salon zero stars.

Yellow Orange Salon is one of the best in Aurora

I have had my hair coloured, cut, highlighted several times with Danyal and have left each time with exactly what i asked for. He listens carefully, makes suggestions to improve upon what i asked and then masterfully completes his 'art'. I have received many compliments afterwards and always leave the salon feeling relaxed and satisfied! One of the best salons in Aurora.

Excellent Salon and Staff

I have been seeing Jeff at Yellow Orange for two years now and I am absolutely thrilled with his work. He is creative, precise, fast and he treats his clients with the utmost care and consideration. He cuts and colours my hair every 5-6 weeks and he manages to keep it in beautiful condition eventhough I like to colour it platinum blonde which is very harsh on my hair. I worked at a very exclusive hair salon in Bayview Village for seven years and I had very high expectations to fulfill when I started coming to see Jeff: Needless to say, his work has surpassed my expectations. Jeff and his staff are constantly upgrading their education with L'Oreal Professional courses and seminars and they keep up with all of the latest trends and techniques and equipment in the industry. Yellow Orange is a very professional salon, in an excellent location with ample parking. Few salon's in York region are up to the same exacting standards of Yellow Orange. I would highly recommed this salon to everybody who is looking for a professional, precise hair cut and colour.

Great Experience

I have been going to Yellow Orange since it opened and I might add I drive 2 hours, just to see Jeff and his staff, and to make sure that when I leave the Salon I feel great. The staff are friendly, and Jeff has been cutting & looking after my hair for ages, he is the best I have found!!! I find when I go there it is like a break away form the rest of the world, and when you leave you feel totally rejuvenated! Liz Weir
