I was from out of town with transmission trouble. I found Kelly from yellow pages and was a little leary on out of town auto repair. I had my vehicle towed to his shop and had the issue repaired. Unfortunately more damage was done to my truck than I hoped for. If it wasnt for the fact that I live 300 kms away from shop I would have had Kelly do the work. He was honest and upfront on issues. I would highly recommend Kelly. Wish I lived closer cause he would have got the work.

On the eve of taking a 58 Triumph to Kingston for some work my starter motor seized. I called CAA and they sent a flatbed from Johnston's towing in Peterborough. The shop sent a fellow named Ray, who clearly had a a huge level of experience in dealing with classic and show cars. I was very impressed. Johnston's, you have a very valuable employee and I appreciated the level of expertise and experience. My car arrived at the shop in perfect condition and I have never me a friendlier guy.

We have used Havelock Auto for a number of years for a variety of services. We always found Paul and his staff helpful and accommodating. Our cottage is on Round Lake in Havelock. Whenever possible we try to wait until we get to Havelock to get our cars serviced. It is much cheaper than the city and we have always been happy with the work they have done.
I would strongly recommend Havelock Truck and Auto.

I am not sure what the problem is with Acslater's review above but it is VERY FAR from being accurate or the truth. No disrespect but I am sure they will not miss one person's business because these guys are extremely friendly, very professional, have fair pricing, knowledgeable and are very honest. Called to make an appointment for an etest, after talking on the phone and settling on a time for the next day I got a call back with an opening for that afternoon, I showed up an hour early and it was taken in right away!
